Cancellation & Advance Deposit Policy
We may not charge a booking deposit at time of booking however we will collect credit card information at that time and store it securely.
If we do not charge a deposit at the time of booking, we will do so nearer the time of your arrival. For stays of more than one night, 50% of your total Lodging Charges together with applicable taxes will be payable. For one night stays your total Lodging Charges together with taxes will be charged.
Regardless of when your deposit is charged:
- If you cancel your booking more than 14 days from Noon on the date of your arrival your deposit will be refunded, less a $30 Cancellation Fee to cover credit card and other charges.
- If you cancel your booking less than 14 days from Noon on the date of your arrival your deposit is not refundable but you may reuse it towards a stay within twelve months of the arrival date of your cancelled booking, subject to availability. If you cancel your rescheduled visit at any time you may lose your deposit.
- If you cancel your booking within 5 days of Noon on your arrival date during Christmas Week, Presidents Week or Foliage Season; or within 72 hours of Noon on your arrival date at all other times; then you are responsible for full payment of lodging charges and any extras for the entire reserved stay. This includes cancellations or changes to your booking for any reason including weather, "no shows", late arrivals, early departures or medical issues.
Changes to Your Booking Dates
We will do our best to accommodate changes to your booking dates, subject to availability and at our discretion; if we cannot reschedule your stay, our Cancellation Policy will apply. If you cancel your rescheduled visit at any time you may lose your deposit.
Cancellation Policy for Ski Tickets & Greens Fees
Up to 7 days before the date of your arrival, all Extras and Package components can be cancelled without penalty. However, within 7 days of the date of your arrival, any Ski Lift Tickets and Greens Fees, whether booked as an Extra or as part of a Package must be paid for in full if cancelled. Other Extras and Indulgences can be cancelled on the same terms as Lodging bookings.
We do not add a service charge to your bill. If you would like to recognize their service by offering a gratuity to our Housekeepers, they do always appreciate this kindness. You will find information on how to do this in our Restaurant and in your guest room, and we are always happy to help. Our staff keep 100% of their gratuities, and we pay any associated credit card charges for them.
We welcome children over 12 years old however the Inn is not suitable for younger children. We do not have cribs, high chairs or a children's menu.
We are sorry, but we cannot accept guest pets at the Inn: this may cause problems for other guests. Our own Mini Schnauzer Josie lives at the Inn. Josie is a very friendly small dog with hypoallergenic hair not fur and she does not shed however she is not allowed in the guest rooms. From 3:00 pm on your arrival date. With advance notice, we may be able to offer a slightly earlier check-in -- please let us know as soon as possible.
By 11:00 am on your departure date. Please give us as much notice as possible if you would prefer to check-out a little later, and we will accommodate you if we can.
Smoking inside a hospitality property is against the law in Vermont, and we do not allow smoking anywhere inside the Inn. Guests may smoke in the porches and grounds provided no other guests are inconvenienced. If we need to deep-clean your room due to smoking, an extra charge will apply.
